Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denton Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Denton Thunder will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hank Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Denton Thunder! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thunder throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Hill sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Hill takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Denton Thunder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thunder misses with a looping left. Hill moves out of range of the strikes. Thunder throws a chopping leg kick but Hill manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Thunder throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hill avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Thunder tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hill was well out of range. Poor timing from Thunder. Hill throws a looping overhand right but Thunder ducks down to avoid it. Thunder's corner calls for a 1-2. Thunder obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Thunder gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hill has had enough of the clinch but Thunder keeps him there for the moment. Thunder pushes off an throws an elbow but Hill leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Hill drops down looking for an ankle pick but Thunder pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thunder scores with a push kick. Thunder looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Thunder throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Thunder throws a jab when Hill was well out of range. Hill misses with a hook. Thunder ducked under it nicely. Thunder doesn't manage to clinch there - Hill circles away.
Hill shoots for a double leg takedown but Thunder sprawls well. He's pushed Hill's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hill tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Denton Thunder is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Thunder lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Hill has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Thunder. Hill is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Thunder throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Thunder wants to clinch. The fighters circling - Hill throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Thunder misses with a wild body shot. Hill looks to land a left hand but Thunder moved out of range nicely. Thunder thows a body kick. Hill tries to catch it but that hurt him. Hill walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Thunder with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Thunder pushes Hill away with a front kick. Thunder throws a head kick that Hill semi-blocks.
Hill has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Thunder.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thunder pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Thunder - that will leave a mark!
Thunder throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Thunder plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Hill slips a jab and a cross from Thunder.
Thunder connects with a body shot that sends Hill's belly button to the back. That kick from Thunder tenderised Hill's leg. Hill is trying to keep his angry face on. Hill will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Hill walks into a straight right hand from Thunder. Thunder gets a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A nice right hand lands inside from Thunder. Thunder breaks the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hill circles away from the clinch attempt.
Thunder connects with a leg kick. Hill looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. A solid leg kick lands there for Thunder.
Hill avoids the head kick by Thunder.
Hill keeps the fight on the outside. Thunder closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Thunder is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Hill is looking to break free of the clinch but Thunder has double underhooks. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Thunder's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Thunder chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Thunder just misses with a punch to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Denton Thunder dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Thunder fails to land with a series of punches.
Hill shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Thunder napping and manages to drive through into side control! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hill has knee on belly and moves into mount. Hill working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Thunder tries to hold on but Hill pushes him away. Hill lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Thunder hang on? Thunder really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Hill tries to control but Thunder wriggling away. Thunder is trying to escape the mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Thunder has worked his arm free - good work by Thunder!
Thunder can't do much from the bottom here. Hill content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hill thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Thunder is trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hill working away. Thunder prevents Hill from moving into mount. Thunder is trying to control Hill's posture but Hill avoids it. Hill wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thunder keeps working. Thunder is looking to regain half guard here but Hill keeps moving and retains side control. Thunder is trying to control Hill's posture but Hill avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill works to advance to full mount. Thunder defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Thunder is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Thunder might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hill kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Thunder is working to get back to half guard.
Thunder slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Hill looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Thunder is holding on to half guard well. Thunder is defending against the submission attempts here by Hill.
Thunder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thunder wants to improve his position but Hill is controlling well.
Hill thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Thunder to regain full guard. Thunder pulls Hill in close to prevent any damage. Hill postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hill trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Thunder trying to keep a closed guard but Hill is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Hank Hill will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
A swing and a miss from Thunder. Thunder buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Thunder tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Thunder misses with a body kick. Thunder moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Thunder lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Hill circles away from the clinch attempt.

Hill on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Thunder tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hill manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hill blocks a head kick by Thunder.

Thunder fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hill looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Thunder scores with a head kick. Hill tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thunder thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hill if he has to take too many more of those.
Thunder turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Denton Thunder seems to be getting the better of the standup. A nice inside leg kick there by Thunder. That's going to slow Hill down. Thunder lands a nice looking body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Thunder moves in looking to clinch but Hill pushes him off. Hill throws a body punch but Thunder moves out of range. Thunder works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Thunder tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hill swats him away and circles back towards the center. Thunder cracks the inside of Hill's front leg. Thunder lands a leg kick that knocks Hill off balance momentarily. Thunder has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Thunder thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hill if he has to take too many more of those.
Hill closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Thunder lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hill is rocked! Hill is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Thunder with a nice cross. Oh Hill is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Well,Hill is on his way to losing a decision here. Can he use his experience to pull something off in the closing minutes? Thunder is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hill takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Thunder's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Thunder lands with a thumping leg kick.

Thunder is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Thunder presses Hill against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Thunder lands a big head kick that sends Hill tumbling to the mat! Thunder takes a step backwards and waves Hill back to his feet - he wants the finish! Hill tries to keep at a distance but Thunder has taken the fight into the clinch. Hill throws a head punch that misses. Hill tries to break the clinch but Thunder is controlling the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Thunder scores with a nice hook to the head. Thunder has Hill pressed against the cage. He pushes Hill back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Thunder throws a beautiful elbow that sends Hill crashing to the floor! Thunder piles on the pressure with more strikes! Hill is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Denton Thunder! Denton Thunder was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
