These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders throws a jab but it's blocked by Jones.
Sanders looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Sanders breaks from the clinch.
Sanders throws a head kick that Jones semi-blocks.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Sanders to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jones is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Let's hope that Jones has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Sanders is just out of range.

Sanders shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Sanders keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sanders takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sanders manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Sanders.
Sanders looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Sanders persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Jones throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Sanders is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
