Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeffy Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pauly D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jefferson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fette's Vette. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeffy Jefferson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pauly D! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! D throws a shot from downtown. Jefferson moves away and avoids it. Jefferson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A momentary lapse in concentration from D enables Jefferson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. D manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Jefferson wants to pass the guard but D is keeping the position. D has a closed guard, preventing Jefferson from standing up. Jefferson drops back looking for a leg! D is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and D manages to kick Jefferson off! Jefferson jumps back into D's guard. D has Jefferson pulled in close to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jefferson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Jefferson looking to pass the guard. Jefferson wants to control from the top but D keeps moving. Jefferson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on D, up you get! Jefferson slips a jab and a cross from D.

and Jefferson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. D taking some punishment here, with Jefferson in his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jefferson is looking to stall here but D recovers full guard. D really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jefferson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jefferson drops back looking for a leg! D is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and D manages to kick Jefferson off! Jefferson jumps back into D's guard. Jefferson trying to control the position from guard on top but D is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jefferson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but D manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jefferson has D in his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jefferson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but D can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jefferson is trying to control the position but D postures up. D stands and steps away. Jefferson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Jefferson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeffy Jefferson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jefferson tries to close the distance and clinch but D swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jefferson looks to clinch and D counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jefferson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with D but D pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jefferson is looking to clinch. Jefferson lets loose with a powerful body kick. D will feel that in the morning. Horrible takedown by Jefferson or perhaps it was just good defense by D which made him look bad. Jefferson fails with the takedown. D misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jefferson.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. D throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
D clinches up against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. D throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jeffersons head. D scores with a shoulder strike. Jefferson goes for a takedown attempt but D pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeffy Jefferson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jefferson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jeffy Jefferson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. D misses with a straight left. Jefferson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Jefferson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! D is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! D has escaped and now he's on top! Jefferson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and D defends well. Jefferson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. D is aware though and is defending well. Jefferson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jefferson is working an open guard so D takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Nope, D circles away and we're back to standing. D forces Jefferson back against the cage and clinches. Jefferson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but D has him pressed against the cage. Jefferson lands a good knee to the midsection. D won't want to take too many of those. D misses with a body punch.

D rushes Jefferson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jefferson looking to slow down the pace here. D working aggressively here.

D lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jefferson or not. Jefferson throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jefferson shoots for a double leg takedown but D sprawls well. He's pushed Jefferson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. D jabbing away but nothing is landing. Jefferson slips a straight right by D. Jefferson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. D tries to avoid it but Jefferson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag D to the ground. D escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. D closes the distance and clinches. This has been an exciting period of action! Jefferson is working for takedown but D is calmly controlling the position for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. D has Jefferson pressed against the cage, preventing Jefferson from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jefferson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as D walks away with a smile on his face. Jefferson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jeffy Jefferson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jefferson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jeffy Jefferson will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
D punishes Jefferson's body with a nice straight punch. D misses with a wild body shot. Jefferson wants to clinch up but D keeps it at a distance. D steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jefferson. D clinches up with Jefferson and pushes him back against the cage. Jefferson putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has D in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Pauly D seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Jefferson goes for a takedown attempt but D pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
D leaves Jefferson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Pauly D seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jefferson tries to close the distance and clinch but D swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jefferson checks the leg kick nicely there.

Jefferson tries to clinch but fails miserably letting D counter with a right hand. Jefferson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says D as he avoids it easily.

so Jefferson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. This has been an exciting period of action! Jefferson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. D swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jefferson throws and elbow that misses. D uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jefferson's guard. Nice move by D! Jefferson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. D stacks Jefferson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by D! Jeffy Jefferson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. D in side control, just content to control the action for now. Jefferson is trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jefferson is trying to control D's posture but D avoids it. Jefferson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jefferson is trying to improve his position. That's four minutes gone in the round. Jefferson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. D fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jefferson, pushing him back against the cage. Jefferson can't get the takedown.
Pauly D has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! D lands a good knee to the midsection. Jefferson won't want to take too many of those. A head punch blocked on the inside by D. D fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Jefferson drops down looking for an ankle pick but D pulls his leg out and moves away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. D looks to throw the jab but Jefferson is out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Pauly D. I think Jefferson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
