The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz tries to bum rush Puncher with a series of wild strikes but Puncher uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ortiz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Puncher throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ortiz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Puncher moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Puncher feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ortizs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Puncher throws the left hand but Ortiz avoids the punch easily.
Puncher closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Puncher gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
