Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chop Meat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chop Meat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Hayabusa! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hayabusa misses with a head kick.
Chop Meat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Meat moves in looking to clinch but Hayabusa pushes him off. Meat throws a head kick that misses and Hayabusa counters with a straight right hand. Meat throws a sloppy head kick and Hayabusa counters with a single leg into guard. Meat didn't expect that. Hayabusa stands up from Meat's guard - Hayabusa perhaps looking for a knockout. Hayabusa is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hayabusa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Meat wants to clinch and Hayabusa makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Meat closes the distance looking to clinch and Hayabusa counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hayabusa tries to stand but can't do so whilst Meat controls his leg. Meat is trying to get back to full guard. Meat actively working from the bottom here. Hayabusa decides to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hayabusa circles away from the clinch attempt and Hayabusa counters by clinching up. Hayabusa tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Meat tries to break the clinch but Hayabusa is controlling the position. With the fighters up against the cage, Hayabusa throws an elbow but misses. Come on Hayabusa - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa shoots in for a takedown but Meat shows good takedown defense. Meat cracks the inside of Hayabusa's front leg. Meat tries to clinch and Hayabusa counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Meat flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hayabusa not doing much here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Well, if Hayabusa is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Meat is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Hayabusa jumps into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryu Hayabusa dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Hayabusa takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A head kick misses from Hayabusa. Meat closes the distance but Hayabusa moves to the side and Hayabusa moves into the clinch. Meat dodges an elbow strike from Hayabusa.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Both guys are working to get underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Meat breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Meat looks to clinch and Hayabusa counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hayabusa. Hayabusa tries to land knees in the clinch but Meat avoids the damage to the body. Hayabusa scores with a knee to the head.

Meat pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A head kick from Meat lands but Hayabusa takes it in his stride. Hayabusa misses with a wild body shot. Meat clinches but Hayabusa breaks the clinch and Hayabusa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hayabusa. Meat wants to stand up but Hayabusa is controlling him. Meat is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa stands up from guard. Let's bang! Hayabusa walks forward, straight into a front kick from Meat. Hayabusa tries to clinch up but Meat circles away and keeps his distance. Hayabusa tries to close the distance and clinch but Meat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Meat avoids the head kick by Hayabusa.
Meat closes the distance looking to clinch and Hayabusa counters with a head kick. That will keep Meat thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Meat takes the fight into the clinch. Hayabusa throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hayabusa's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Hayabusa lands a damaging elbow. Hayabusa using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Meat has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

He's now in the guard on the top. Hayabusa postures up.
Hayabusa gets to his feet. Meat looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Hayabusa creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Meat wants to get back to striking at distance but Hayabusa won't allow it.
Hayabusa manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Hayabusa pushes Meat off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Meat avoids the head kick by Hayabusa.
Meat closes the distance but Hayabusa moves to the side and Hayabusa counters with a left to the body. Meat throws a sloppy head kick and Hayabusa moves out of range easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Meat tries to clinch but Hayabusa moves away and Hayabusa counters with a shoot takedown. Meat fights it but they end up in guard. Chop Meat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Meat had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hayabusa is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Meat Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hayabusa's back instead. Meat somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Meat looking for the choke from the back. Hayabusa breaks Meat's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryu Hayabusa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hayabusa winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
