Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jon Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Hess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sebastian Hess looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Bane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sebastian Hess! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bane feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bane slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bane throwing strikes from guard but Hess blocks nicely. Bane trying to control but Hess is working from the bottom. Hess controls Bane momentarily but Bane frees himself. Bane thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bane postures up.
Bane trying to control but Hess is working from the bottom. Bane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hess swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nice takedown defense from Hess. No joy for Bane on that attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Hess as Bane shoots in. Bane closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hess looks gassed! Hess struggling a bit here. Hess tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bane is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hess has escaped the position, nice work there. Bane staying calm. Bane working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. You can see the frustration on Hess's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bane tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Hess is trying to control Bane's posture but Bane avoids it. Bane is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hess is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hess struggling a bit here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bane is working to tighten is grip on Hess's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hess has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bane is really squeezing tight and eventually Hess passes out! Bane breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
