Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hurt takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Hurt looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sprinkles with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hurt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sprinkles on the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sprinkles is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hurt connects with a solid leg kick.

Hurt has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Hurt has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sprinkles off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Hurt misses with a takedown attempt - Sprinkles sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hurt clinches up with Sprinkles and pushes him back against the cage.
Hurt has Sprinkles pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sprinkles manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Hurt. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sprinkles tries a knee to the head but Hurt blocks it.

Hurt jumps into guard, dragging Sprinkles to the mat.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hurt is on top in guard.
Hurt is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Hurt stands up and waves to Sprinkles to follow him.
Sprinkles is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hurt dives in and grabs Sprinkles's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sprinkles pushes down on Hurt's head and hops out.
Sprinkles moves in looking to clinch but Hurt pushes him off.
Sprinkles tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hurt swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hurt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hurt in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Sprinkles is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
