Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paladin Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and For Whom The Bell Tolls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tolls is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by For Whom The Bell Tolls. For Whom The Bell Tolls is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, For Whom The Bell Tolls!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tolls waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Steel.
Steel goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Steel fails with the takedown
and Tolls cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Steel fails with the takedown.

Steel has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tolls tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Steel manages to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Steel is working an open guard so Tolls takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Steel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Tolls is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Tolls closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Steel wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Tolls makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Tolls tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Steel's elbow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tolls lands a body shot.
A nice left hand lands by Tolls.
Steel tries to pull guard but Tolls holds him up against the cage and eventually Steel drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paladin Steel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Steel is trying to push Tolls away but Tolls has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Steel misses with a knee strike.
Tolls lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Steel tries to pull guard but Tolls won't allow it.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Tolls.
Tolls fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Tolls lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Tolls digs a right hand underneath Steel's ribcage. Steel let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Tolls presses Steel against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Tolls working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Steel jumps guard but Tolls stands there with Steel around his waist. Steel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tolls tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Steel blocks a punch to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tolls doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Tolls misses with a punch on the inside.

Tolls presses Steel against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Steel is breathing heavily.
Tolls lands a left hand.
A short left from Tolls.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tolls.
Steel fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Still in the clinch, Tolls scores with a nice short uppercut.
Tolls lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Steel backwards.


Steel is rocked!
Tolls lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Steel.
Oh Steel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tolls lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Steel backwards.
A short right from Tolls on the inside.
Tolls lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Tolls dips a shoulder and cracks Steel with a mighty uppercut! Steel falls back against the cage and Tolls unloads with a barrage of strikes! Steel is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Tolls screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). For Whom The Bell Tolls!
