Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damien Chang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ronald Revens!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chang closes the distance and pushes Revens back into the cage.
Chang is trying to break free.

Revens has picked Chang up - he's going for a ride! Revens dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Revens is looking for a kimura here.

Revens is looking for a kimura here.
Revens prevents Chang from improving his position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Revens lands a nice short elbow.

Revens is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Revens looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Revens is working for a kimura but Chang is defending it quite comfortably.

Revens is looking for a kimura but Chang is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Revens to get the leverage.
Chang has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Revens is working away from the top position though.
Revens throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Revens is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Revens is pressing down on Chang's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chang is holding on for now.
Revens trying to control from half guard but Chang is working away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Revens is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Chang tries to hold on but Revens postures up.

Chang has left one of his arms exposed and Revens doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Chang screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
