Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Jones jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Jensen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ray Jones jr!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones jr slips a jab and a cross from Jensen.
Jones jr takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
No joy there for Jensen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jensen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Jensen gets a clinch.

Jensen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jensen darts in and clinches Jones jr up against the cage.
Jensen lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jones jr backwards.
Jones jr fails to pull guard.
Jensen lands an uppercut.
A left hand lands to the body for Jensen.
Jones jr looks gassed!
Jones jr tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jensen just stands there and leans against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee is keeping an eye on Jensen - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jensen lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jones jr backwards.
Jones jr tries to pull guard but Jensen won't allow it.
Adam Jensen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Jones jr.

Jensen lands with a left to the head.

Jensen breaks from the clinch.
Jensen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jones jr's calf.

Jensen jabs Jones jr to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jones jr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jensen finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones jr's head.
Jensen lands a jab to the nose.

Jensen closes the distance and clinches.

Jensen successfully pulls guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Jensen is pulling down on Jones jr's head. It's preventing any offense from Jones jr, at least for the moment.

Jensen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Jensen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jensen tries to get out of the position.
Jensen wants to hit a switch here but Jones jr passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jensen there!

Jones jr is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jensen has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jensen!
Jensen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Jensen wants to control from the top but Jones jr keeps moving.
Jensen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Jensen is working Jones jr over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Jones jr has his takedown stuffed
and Jensen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Left hook, right uppercut from Jensen.
Jones jr takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jensen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nice body punch from Jensen.

Jones jr gets caught napping as Jensen dives in and scores a takedown. Jones jr manages to retain guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jensen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jones jr's head.

Jensen has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Jensen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Jones jr is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jensen defends well.
Jones jr can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jensen controls the pace.

Jensen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jensen has managed to get both his arms back between Jones jr's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones jr is trying to escape the position but Jensen is controlling the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jensen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jones jr to his feet.

Jensen content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Jensen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jensen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jensen is on top in guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
