Elkins with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nelson to score with a decent uppercut.

Byron Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nelson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Elkins on the side of the head.

Nelson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Elkins circles away quickly and effectively.

Elkins walks into a jab.
Nelson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Elkins drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Nelson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Elkins's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
