Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raegan Penn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andelko Antun! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Penn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Antun paws at him with a jab and circles away. Penn misses with a double jab.
Antun instigates a clinch. Antun breaks from the clinch.
Penn shoots in and drives through. Antun sprawls well. Penn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Antun swivels and escapes. Penn misses with a low kick.
Penn takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Penn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Antun tries to avoid it but Penn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Antun to the ground. Antun escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raegan Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice sprawl there from Antun as Penn shoots in. A slapping body kick lands there for Antun. Penn is breathing heavily. Antun closes the distance and clinches. Penn is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Antun connects with a knee to the head.

Antun breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
An inside leg kick lands from Antun. Penn throws a head kick that misses. Antun feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Antun throws a big right hand that misses. Penn is trying to keep Antun in close.
Antun is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Antun trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Antun stays in close to Penn's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Antun has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Despite being in the dominant position, Andelko Antun just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Penn shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Antun counters with a nice double leg into side control. Penn won't be happy with that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Antun happy to just control the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn is looking for a sweep. Penn wants to control but Antun postures up. Penn is trying to buck Antun off. You can see the frustration on Penn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Penn misses with a takedown attempt and Antun counters with a good low kick that Penn was not able to check.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Penn tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Antun moves into the clinch. Penn using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Antun has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Penn fails with the takedown and Antun counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Penn thinking. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Excellent takedown into side control there by Antun. Antun takes a little break here. Penn wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raegan Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A nice inside leg kick there by Antun. That's going to slow Penn down. Penn throws a combination that misses and Antun counters with a nice double leg into side control. Penn won't be happy with that. Antun is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Penn can't do much from the bottom here. Antun tries to move to mount but Penn blocks the move with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Antun just content to control the position. Penn tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Antun controls the action. Penn is trapped and Antun is scoring with shots to the head and body. Antun just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Antun pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Penn tumbling to the mat - Antun dives into Penn's guard. Penn keeping moving, preventing Antun from controlling successfully. Antun slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Antun advances to half guard. Antun content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Antun trying to pass the guard but Penn defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andelko Antun showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

and Penn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Penn wants to clinch and Antun counters with a right hand to the body. Penn shoots and misses and Antun counters with a single leg into guard. Penn didn't expect that. Antun takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Antun prevents Penn from getting back to his feet. Penn will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Penn is trying to control the position but Antun postures up. Antun trying to control the position from guard on top but Penn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Penn throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Penn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Antun pinned against the cage. Antun gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Antun goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Antun clinches. Antun lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Penn or not. Antun breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Antun clinches up against the cage. Penn jumps guard but Antun stands there with Penn around his waist. Penn gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raegan Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Antun has hold of one of Penn's legs. Penn is fighting the takedown attempt but Antun gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Antun postures up.

Penn is trying to control the action in half guard but Antun is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Antun is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Penn's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Penn's back! Antun controlling from the back. Antun misses with punches from the back. Antun controlling the position well here. Penn rolled but Antun kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Antun throwing wild punches that miss their target. Antun really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Penn.

And that's the end of the fight! Andelko Antun comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Antun has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
