Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niaz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Niaz wants it to stay on the feet.
George Stellben seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stellben avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stellben with a poor takedown
and Niaz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Stellben scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Niaz is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Stellben scores with a couple of nice shots.

Stellben bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Stellben connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Niaz some visible discomfort.

Stellben misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stellben wants to lay and pray for a moment but Niaz keeps working.
Niaz is trying to control Stellben's posture but Stellben avoids it.
Niaz is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Stellben off and has taken his back!

George Stellben dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Stellben shoots in but no luck this time.
Niaz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stellben pinned against the cage. Stellben gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Stellben swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Niaz counters with a left and a right that stings Stellben.
Stellben shoots in but Niaz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stellben throws a body punch but Niaz moves out of range.
Niaz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stellben.

Niaz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stellben avoids it really well and circles away.

Stellben stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Niaz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dick Niaz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Nice sprawl there from Niaz as Stellben shoots in.

Niaz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Stellben eats them both and turns towards Niaz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Stellben throws a lazy right hand but Niaz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
George Stellben is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Niaz tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Niaz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stellben tries to avoid it but Niaz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stellben to the ground. Stellben escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Niaz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nice takedown defense from Niaz. No joy for Stellben on that attempt.
Horrible takedown by Stellben or perhaps it was just good defense by Niaz which made him look bad.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Stellben shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Niaz as he jumps to the side.
Niaz lands with a nice combination. Stellben backs away looking to recover.

Stellben tries to score a power double leg takedown but Niaz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stellben somewhat.
Stellben throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Niaz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stellben is in Niaz's guard.

Niaz is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stellben cracks Niaz with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Niaz wants to control but Stellben is having none of it.

That was a close second round but I would say that George Stellben will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Stellben looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Niaz is fending him off so far but Stellben persists. Nope, Niaz circles away and we're back to standing.
Niaz takes a swing at Stellben's ribcage but misses.
Niaz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Niaz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Niaz lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Niaz.

Niaz seems to have recovered his senses.
Stellben wants to lay and pray for a moment but Niaz keeps working.

George Stellben overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
