1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Derek Ramsey! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kazansky scores with a nice head shot. Kazansky scores with a nice strike. Kazansky looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ramsey is fending him off so far but Kazansky persists. Nope, Ramsey circles away and we're back to standing. Ramsey darts in and clinches Kazansky up against the cage. Ramsey is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kazansky is defending well for now. Ramsey tightens his grip and picks Kazansky up, before dumping him to the ground. Kazansky manages to land in guard. Kazansky avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ramsey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kazansky has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ramsey has managed to get both his arms back between Kazansky's legs - danger averted. Kazansky keeping moving, preventing Ramsey from controlling successfully. Kazansky wriggles free and stands up. The fight moves into the clinch position.

Kazansky is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ramsey is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kazansky to the mat. Kazansky regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Ramsey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kazansky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kazansky trying to strike off his back.

Ramsey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ramsey throws a big right hand that misses. Ramsey wants to control from the top but Kazansky keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kazansky wants to stand and escape but Ramsey is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ramsey gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kazansky keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ramsey's efforts to push away. Kazansky prevents Ramsey from breaking the clinch. Kazansky manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Kazansky thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Kazansky pushes a forearm under Ramsey's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ramsey is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
