Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fritz Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bennett has chosen Bill Conti - Gonna Fly Now as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem tries to clinch but Bennett moves out of range.
Overeem rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bennett moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Overeem doesn't manage to clinch there - Bennett circles away.
Bennett looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bennett fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Overeem sprawls well initially but Bennett persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Overeem has hold of Bennett's hands but Bennett slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Bennett is nestled in close to Overeem, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bennett is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Overeem is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
