Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Slater! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jurij Gagarin! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gagarin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Slater's sensitive parts. Gagarin throws a quick inside leg kick. Slater throws a head kick that misses. Slater rushes Gagarin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gagarin trying to land knees to the body.
Gagarin tries to land knees in the clinch but Slater avoids the damage to the body. Slater blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Slater drags the fight down to the ground.
Slater is adopting a defensive guard. Gagarin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Slater throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Slater looking for a triangle here. Gagarin is fighting it but it looks tight! Slater pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Gagarin is tapping out - this one is all over!
