Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Omar Munich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor MacLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Connor MacLeod!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Munich.
Munich fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but MacLeod avoids it really well and circles away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Munich.
Munich looks to clinch
and MacLeod connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Omar Munich has been cut.
MacLeod darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Munich doesn't manage to clinch there - MacLeod circles away.
MacLeod lands a nice hook to Munich's body. Munich takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
MacLeod works the jab nicely.
MacLeod lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Munich is rocked!
Munich darts in trying to clinch
and Munich is countered with a crisp right hand from MacLeod that sends him to the canvas! MacLeod follows him to the mat into side control.
Oh Munich is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
MacLeod has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Munich!
Munich seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MacLeod controlling from the full mount.

MacLeod won't let Munich get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
MacLeod looking to control and managing it successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Connor MacLeod was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Munich is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Connor MacLeod is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Munich pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A leg kick checked by MacLeod.
MacLeod scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
MacLeod bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Munich! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
MacLeod seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

MacLeod controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Munich is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
MacLeod stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Munich swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Connor MacLeod wasn't active enough on the ground.
Munich gets cracked with a nice right hand there by MacLeod.
Omar Munich's cut is getting worse.
MacLeod thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Munich if he has to take too many more of those.
Munich is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
MacLeod lands with a big right hook that stumbles Munich - he's out on his feet here! MacLeod follows up with another monster hook that separates Munich from consciousness! Munich falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! MacLeod stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Connor MacLeod!
As Connor MacLeod got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I would Like to thank myself for being such a bad motherfucker! '.
