Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Weed King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Volkov has chosen Stand By Me as his entrance music. Oleg Volkov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King misses with a few strikes there.
Volkov shoots and misses
and King makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
King smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A decent looking body kick lands there for King.
Volkov looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
King tries to clinch there but Volkov circles away.
King moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
King has Volkov up against the cage in a clinch.
King prevents the takedown attempt.
King gets through Volkov's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
King breaks from the clinch.
King thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Volkov if he has to take too many more of those.
King throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
King lands with a nice combination. Volkov backs away looking to recover.
King lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Oooh a lovely combination from King sends Volkov down but not out. King dives into side control looking to finish.
It looks like Oleg Volkov has been cut.
King decides to stand up, so the ref orders Volkov to his feet.

King has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Volkov uses from the top position.
Volkov postures up in King's guard and throws a big left but King blocks it.
King is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
King decides to stand up.
King forces Volkov back against the cage and clinches.

King working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Volkov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Volkov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Volkov stands up over King, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Volkov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! King is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! King has escaped and now he's on top!

Volkov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst King is controlling him.

King connects with a good right hand that stumbles Volkov. Volkov circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Volkov shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Volkov misses with a takedown attempt - King sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

King throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Volkov's head.
King tries to clinch but Volkov is having none of it.
King lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Volkov backs up against the cage.

Oleg Volkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Volkov drops back, looking for a kneebar! King looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. King looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from King!
King wants to control but Volkov is keeping him busy.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no King has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Weed King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Volkov wants to get back to his feet.
King has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Volkov walks into a stiff left hand from King.
King takes the fight into the clinch.
Volkov drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
King pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Volkov takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

King lands a nice shot that snaps Volkov's head back.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

King pushes Volkov off and scrambles back to his feet.
Volkov has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from King.
Volkov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and King connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Volkov scrambles back to his feet.
Volkov shoots in but King avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nice takedown defense from Volkov. No joy for King on that attempt.

King is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Volkov scores with a couple of nice shots.
Volkov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks King with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Volkov throwing shots but King is blocking nicely.

Volkov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and King defends it well.

King bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Volkov's guard.
King prevents Volkov from getting back to his feet.
King decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Volkov, up you get!
Volkov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says King as he avoids it easily.
King tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Volkov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Volkov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Volkov is posturing up here but King has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Volkov tries to roll out but it's too tight and Volkov has to tap! Slick submission there by King!
