Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Haan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent comes into the arena with I'll be Back blaring out of the sound system. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kent crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Haan - the referee stops the clock and Kent gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Haan. Kent manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Kent looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Haan tries to roll over but Kent keeps him under control.

Haan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kent swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kent moves out of range as Haan strikes.

Kent lands a left and a right that sends Haan crashing to the canvas! Kent dives into mount looking to finish!

Kent knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Haan on the ground.
Kent tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Haan wants to control but Kent is having none of it.
BOOM! Kent connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Haan bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Kent looking to hit a scissor sweep but Haan is one step ahead there.
Kent on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kent tries to get out of the position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kent holds on and takes a little breather.

Haan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kent tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Haan tries to free his leg and advance position but Kent is retaining full guard.
Kent can't keep his opponent in guard - Haan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Rick Haan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kent scores with a nice strike.

That has opened up Rick Haan's cut even more.
Kent jabs Haan right on the nose. Haan blinks but takes it well.
Kent lands a nice hook to Haan's body. Haan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kent scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Haan doesn't seem bothered though.
Kent ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kent lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Haan can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Kent and Haan drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Kent.
