Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alberik Gunther (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alberik Gunther! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, David Miller! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunther shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Miller as he avoids it easily. Gunther fails with a takedown attempt. Gunther misses with a takedown attempt - Miller sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alberik Gunther. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gunther scores a takedown into full mount! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Gunther is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Miller has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Miller! Gunther looking for a sweep. Not yet Gunther, not yet. Miller trying to control but Gunther is working from the bottom. Gunther will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Miller drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gunther dives on top into guard. Gunther got a little sloppy there for a moment and Miller has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gunther has managed to get both his arms back between Miller's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunther pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Miller is keeping the position for now. Gunther gets to his feet - Miller follows without any prompting. Gunther really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Miller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Gunther wants to get back to full guard. Gunther actively working from the bottom here. Gunther actively working from the bottom here. Miller looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gunther with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Miller is nestled in close to Gunther, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Gunther looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Miller seems to be looking for submissions.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Miller passes the guard and advances to mount! Miller looking for a guillotine from mount but Gunther is having none of it. Gunther gets back to half guard. Miller prevents Gunther from improving his position. Gunther is working hard here to advance position. Gunther has hold of Miller's hands but Miller slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Gunther wants to get back to full guard but Miller has mounted him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunther is in a horrible position here. Miller smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gunther is working to get back to half guard.
Miller fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Gunther is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Gunther sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Miller lands strikes from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gunther looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Gunther is breathing heavily. Miller is keen to just control but Gunther is a slippery customer. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gunther looking for submissions off his back. Miller wants to pass to mount but Gunther is defending the position. Miller is working for a kimura but Gunther is defending it quite comfortably.
Gunther regains full guard. Nicely done. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gunther is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Gunther pulls Miller in close to prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Miller dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Gunther gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Miller prevents a takedown attempt there.
Gunther is trying to drag Miller to the mat but Miller just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Gunther wants a takedown.

Miller is looking to control Gunther's arms but Gunther gets an underhook and turns him. Now Miller has his back to the cage. Gunther pulls guard successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round. Miller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Miller is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Gunther looking for a guillotine here but Miller defends easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Miller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Miller is in close to Gunther's body, working some short punches and elbows. Miller wants to control from the top but Gunther keeps moving. Gunther working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. David Miller has got the better of the ground game so far. Gunther is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Miller trying to control but Gunther is working from the bottom. Gunther manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller is bucking up trying to escape but Gunther cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Miller throwing hammer fists to the chest of Gunther. What's that going to do exactly? Miller working to try and regain half guard.
Miller tries to hold on but Gunther pushes him away. Gunther with a couple of short strikes. Gunther goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Miller is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunther is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Miller has his hands clasped together but Gunther extends an breaks Miller's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gunther.
