Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Casey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mack has chosen homies by icp as his entrance music. John Casey could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dan Mack's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Casey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dan Mack! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Casey shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Casey was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Mack wants to hold on but Casey pushes him away. Casey postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mack looks a forlorn figure.
Casey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mack sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Casey is taking a breather. Mack says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Casey lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. This has been an exciting period of action! Casey sitting and controlling from the half guard. Casey gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Casey fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mack avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice body kick there by Mack. Casey shoots in for a takedown but Mack shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Casey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mack as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Casey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Casey is breathing heavily. Mack stuffs the takedown. Casey shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mack counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Mack working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Mack lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Mack makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Mack swings away with an uppercut that misses.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A head punch on the inside from Mack fails to land. Casey jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mack walks away with a smile on his face. Casey gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Casey shoots in looking for a takedown but Mack manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Casey's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Mack dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Mack leaves Casey with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Casey connects with a jab. Casey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mack circles away. Casey shoots for a double leg takedown but Mack sprawls well. He's pushed Casey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Casey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mack lands with a nice combination. Casey backs away looking to recover. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fight moves into the clinch position. Casey blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Casey wants to control from the top but Mack keeps moving. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mack can do anything to dispel that myth. Mack looking for a sweep. Not yet Mack, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Casey trying to control the position from guard on top but Mack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Casey is really struggling to control Mack but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. John Casey wasn't doing enough on the ground. Casey has a takedown stuffed. Casey with a poor takedown and Mack counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mack shoots for a takedown but Casey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Casey fails with the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Mack showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Casey's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Casey fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mack avoids it really well and circles away. Mack stalks Casey and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Casey's face. Casey staggers backwards, shaken. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mack darts in and clinches Casey up against the ropes. A quick uppercut on the inside from Mack. Mack doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Mack stands up over Casey, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Mack with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Mack preventing the sweep. Casey manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Mack tries to reverse the position but Casey maintains control. Casey putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Mack really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Casey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mack defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Casey. Casey wants to control the pace but Mack is squirming around nicely. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Casey goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mack turns into him and now he's in Casey's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mack cracks Casey with a solid left hand. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Casey has momentary wrist control but Mack slips an elbow through the middle. John Casey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dan Mack is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Dan Mack comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Mack winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
