Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Forester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Leonitis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roman Leonitis told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forester closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Leonitis did well to prevent Forester getting side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Forester not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Forester is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Leonitis slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Leonitis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Forester makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Forester.
Leonitis drops back looking for a leg! Forester is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Forester manages to kick Leonitis off! Leonitis jumps back into Forester's guard.
Forester knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leonitis on the ground.

Leonitis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Leonitis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Forester is working away from the top position though.

Leonitis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Forester cracks Leonitis with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Roman Leonitis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Forester throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Leonitis tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Forester is in Leonitis's guard.

Leonitis has hold of Forester's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Forester manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
