Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aleksandr Gurakovskiy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shaun Ellison!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ellison.
Ellison blocks a low kick nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Gurakovskiy. No joy for Ellison on that attempt.
Ellison wants to clinch.
Ellison tries for a takedown but Gurakovskiy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Aleksandr Gurakovskiy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shaun Ellison.
Ellison tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gurakovskiy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ellison somewhat.
Gurakovskiy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Ellison looks gassed!
Gurakovskiy throws a series of punches but Ellison moves out of range.
Ellison shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gurakovskiy as he jumps to the side.
Gurakovskiy lands a right hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gurakovskiy lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ellison backs up against the cage.
It looks like Shaun Ellison has been cut.
Gurakovskiy misses with a wild combination.
Ellison avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gurakovskiy rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ellison counters with a low kick, right behind Gurakovskiy 's knee.
Gurakovskiy lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Gurakovskiy has cracked Ellison with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Gurakovskiy lands another huge swinging hook and Ellison tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Ellison, before Gurakovskiy can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Aleksandr Gurakovskiy!
In his post fight interview, Aleksandr Gurakovskiy started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
