The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ladd lands with a cross.
A jab from Ladd does it's job there.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ladd goes for a small jab and connects. Now Ladd goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Piekny stumbles back but Ladd runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Piekny to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Piekny will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Joel Ladd!
Joel Ladd spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
