Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kang Ho Song (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Song comes into the arena with Dragonforce - Valley of the Damned blaring out of the sound system. Kang Ho Song has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kang Ho Song! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sebastian Wolf! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolf closes the distance and pushes Song back into the cage. Wolf has picked Song up - he's going for a ride! Wolf dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wolf trying to advance position but Song counters by regaining guard. Wolf missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Song might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wolf throws and elbow that misses. Song uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wolf's guard. Nice move by Song! Wolf really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Song. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Song trying to control the position from guard on top but Wolf is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Song throws a strike but Wolf rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Wolf trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wolf postures up in Song's guard and throws a big left but Song blocks it. Wolf working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wolf accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Song utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Song looking for a sweep. Not yet Song, not yet. Song is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Song wants to pass to mount but Wolf is defending the position. Song stops Wolf from getting back to his feet.
Song throwing shots but Wolf is blocking nicely. Wolf wants to improve his position but Song is controlling well.
Song thows a huge punch but Wolf dodges it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Song decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Wolf swats away the attempt to clinch by Song. Song keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nice takedown defense from Song. No joy for Wolf on that attempt. Wolf slips a jab and a cross from Song.
Song throws a sloppy head kick and Wolf moves out of range easily. Song has a takedown stuffed. Wolf misses with a wild combination.
This has been an exciting period of action! Song lands with a slapping head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice body kick there by Wolf. Nice sprawl there from Wolf as Song shoots in. Song is breathing heavily. Song stuffs the takedown. Kang Ho Song has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sebastian Wolf. Excellent takedown into side control there by Wolf. Sloppy strikes there by Wolf. Song takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Song manages to work his way to half guard, despite Wolf's best efforts. Song has hold of Wolf's hands but Wolf slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wolf thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Song's head. Wolf seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Song manages to get to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wolf stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Song swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wolf is looking to work some ground and pound but Song has wrist control. Song pushes Wolf off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Wolf tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Song swivels and escapes. Song gets caught napping as Wolf dives in and scores a takedown. Song manages to retain guard. Wolf throws and elbow that misses. Song uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wolf's guard. Nice move by Song! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wolf has a closed guard, preventing Song from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sebastian Wolf dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Song slaps away a takedown attempt from Wolf, before circling back to the center of the mat. Song shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wolf but Wolf pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wolf displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Song. Song closes the distance but Wolf moves to the side and Wolf finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Song drives through and clinches with Wolf against the cage.
Wolf gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Song blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wolf. Wolf is pressing down on Song's thigh, looking to free his foot. Song is holding on for now. Wolf lands with a punch from half guard.

Wolf wants to advance to full mount but Song doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Wolf landing some decent shots from guard. Song wriggles free and stands up. Wolf stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kang Ho Song. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wolf feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sebastian Wolf showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Wolf looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kang Ho Song has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sebastian Wolf. Wolf keeps the fight on the outside. Wolf takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Song tries to clinch but Wolf moves away and Wolf counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Song is looking to control Wolf's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Song avoid being mounted? Song moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Song wants to get back to his feet but Wolf is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Wolf tries to free his leg and advance position but Song is retaining full guard. Song has momentary wrist control but Wolf slips an elbow through the middle. Wolf wants to pass the guard but Song is keeping the position. Wolf lands a couple of digs.

Song throwing shots but Wolf is blocking nicely. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wolf can do anything to dispel that myth. Song looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wolf with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Wolf tries to kick Song off but Song keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Wolf is staying active underneath Song, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Song thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Song stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Wolf to get to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Song plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Wolf shoots in for a takedown but Song shows good takedown defense. The fight stays on the outside here - Song looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Song lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Sebastian Wolf seems to be getting the better of the standup. Song stuffs the takedown attempt from Wolf. Wolf gets slowly back to his feet. Wolf keeps the fight on the outside. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wolf looks to throw a body kick and Song counters with a big head kick but Wolf shrugs it off. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wolf bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kang Ho Song has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wolf throwing strikes but Song manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Sebastian Wolf. Well Wolf has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
