Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tulppu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tulppu connects with a body shot.
A shot to the liver by Tulppu. Beautiful body shot.
Tulppu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tulppu wants it to stay on the feet.
Tulppu fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gottlob on the side of the head.
It looks like Androcles Gottlob has been cut.
Teppo Tulppu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gottlob throws a right hand that misses
and Gottlob takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Tulppu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gottlob moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gottlob shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gottlob was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Tulppu sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gottlob postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Androcles Gottlob wasn't active enough on the ground.
Tulppu lands a jab to the nose.
Tulppu connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Gottlob looks to throw the jab but Tulppu is out of range.
Tulppu takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Tulppu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Gottlob has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Tulppu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gottlob throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gottlob takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Tulppu pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gottlob back to the cage. Tulppu follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Tulppu is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Gottlob looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tulppu lands a head shot.
Tulppu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Tulppu lunges at Gottlob with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gottlob 's hand.
Tulppu lands a nice shot to the body.
Gottlob takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tulppu is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Tulppu throws a right hand that Gottlob ducks under and follows up with a left that Gottlob also avoids with ease.
Gottlob takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Tulppu feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gottlob s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fighters circle momentarily. Tulppu darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A combination from Tulppu does no damage.
Tulppu wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tulppu thuds his right hand into Gottlob 's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Tulppu is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Tulppu works Gottlob 's body with a nice hook.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tulppu lands with a hook. Gottlob tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Gottlob takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tulppu lands a really nice looking cross but Gottlob seems unphased.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gottlob takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Tulppu works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Tulppu feints a jab promting Gottlob to slip. Tulppu then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gottlob slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Androcles Gottlob 's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
