Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Olson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petros Petros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Olson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Petros Petros! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petros shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Olson sprawls well. Olson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Petros gets slowly back to his feet. Olson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Petros's waist but Petros gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Olson off to one side. Olson fails with a takedown attempt. Olson gets a takedown into half guard. Olson trying to mount his opponent but Petros defends it. Petros is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petros tries to get to full guard but Olson has control of the leg. Olson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Petros to stand up. Petros tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Olson swivels and escapes. Olson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Olson in particular looking to stall. Olson is working for a kimura but Petros is defending it quite comfortably.
Petros is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Olson decides to stand up. Petros fails with the takedown. Nick Olson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Petros Petros. The fight stays on the outside here - Petros looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Petros shoots in for a double leg but Olson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A head kick misses from Petros. Petros looks gassed! Olson scores with a takedown into Petros's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Olson trying to control but Petros is working from the bottom. Olson slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Petros. Olson works his foot free and advances to mount. Olson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Petros is trying desperately to improve position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Olson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Petros has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Olson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Petros is surviving well by controlling Olson's body position as best he can. Olson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Olson is standing up, even though he is in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Olson dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Petros moves into the clinch. Olson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Petros changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Olson tries to avoid it but Petros manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Olson to the ground. Olson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Olson avoids the head kick by Petros.
Petros fails with a takedown attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Olson is defended easily by Petros. Petros displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Olson. Olson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Petros sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Olson somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Olson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Petros's guard. Petros keeping moving, preventing Olson from controlling successfully. Petros throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Petros is breathing heavily. Olson trying to control the position from guard on top but Petros is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Petros looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petros pulls Olson in close to prevent any damage. Olson trying to control but Petros is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Petros can do anything to dispel that myth. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nick Olson. Petros is trying hard to land a takedown here. Olson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Petros tries a head kick but it misses.
Petros closes the distance and clinches. Olson has Petros pressed against the cage, preventing Petros from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A frustrated look appears on Petros's face as he tries to break the clinch. Petros jumps guard but Olson stands there with Petros around his waist. Petros gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Petros tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petros stops a takedown attempt from Olson.

Olson looking for a takedown. Petros manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Olson trying to control the position from guard on top but Petros is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Olson passes Petros's left leg - he's now in half guard. Olson works his way into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Petros wants to control but Olson postures up. Olson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Petros keeps working. Olson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Petros has escaped the position, nice work there. Nick Olson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Olson working away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Olson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Olson swats away the attempt to clinch by Petros. Olson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Petros tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Petros keeps the fight on the outside. Petros fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Petros gets tackled into the cage by Olson. Olson maintains the clinch. Petros gets underhooks to prevent Olson's takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Olson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Petros prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Olson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Petros jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Olson walks away with a smile on his face. Petros gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Petros takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Petros is looking to clinch but Olson is avoiding it.
Olson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Petros tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Olson swivels and escapes. Olson shoots in and drives through. Petros sprawls well. Petros throws the kick towards the body but Olson avoids it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Petros. Olson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petros closes the distance and clinches up with Olson, looking for a takedown. Petros pushes Olson against the cage but Olson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Petros misses with a head kick.
Olson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. No luck for Olson with that takedown attempt. Petros is looking to chop away at Olson's legs. Olson fails to land the takedown. Petros fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Olson shoots in for a takedown but Petros shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Petros goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Olson shoots for a takedown but Petros saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Olson shoots in but no luck this time. Petros shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Olson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Petros avoids it really well and circles away. Olson moves in looking to clinch but Petros pushes him off. Petros tries to clinch but Olson moves out of range. A head kick from Olson lands but Petros takes it in his stride. Petros scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Petros shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Olson as he avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Petros looks to land a combination. Olson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Olson scores a takedown into full mount! Olson looking to control but Petros is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Olson controlling the position easily from mount. BOOM! Olson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nick Olson. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Olson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
