Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Flash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hong Kong Phooey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phooey has chosen Hong Kong Phooey as his entrance music. Jeff Flash has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flash with a poor takedown
and Phooey counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Phooey feints and then cracks Flash's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Flash down.
Flash uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Phooey.
Flash fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Phooey avoids it really well and circles away.
Phooey throws a head kick that misses.
Flash has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Flash. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Phooey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Flash paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Flash avoids the head kick by Phooey.
Flash gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nice body kick from Phooey.
Flash shoots for a takedown but Phooey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Flash shoots in and drives through. Phooey sprawls well.
Phooey's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Phooey duly obliges.
It looks like Jeff Flash has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Flash shoots in looking for a takedown. Phooey tries to sprawl out of it but Flash keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Phooey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Phooey scores with a head kick. Flash tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Phooey takes a swing at Flash's ribcage but misses.
Flash misses with a takedown attempt
and Phooey counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Flash misses with a takedown
and Phooey counters with a one-two to the body.
Flash is rocked!
Flash is breathing heavily.
Flash drops his hands momentarily. Phooey doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Flash staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Flash doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hong Kong Phooey!
