PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chung Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huima Sisu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Blind by Korn. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chung Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Huima Sisu!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Lee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sisu had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lee defends it easily.

Lee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sisu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lee has managed to get both his arms back between Sisu's legs - danger averted.

Sisu is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lee to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lee shrugs it off.
Huima Sisu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lee is just holding on here. Sisu manages to take his back.

Well Lee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
