Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cj Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudi Guns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guns has chosen Kwan - Shine as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rudi Guns was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guns throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hammer scores with a crisp jab that stopped Guns in his tracks.
Guns fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hammer to the ground. Guns is now in Hammer's guard.
Guns trying to control the position from guard on top but Hammer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hammer is looking to stand up but Guns isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hammer is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Guns.
Hammer cracks Guns with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Guns bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Guns drives through with a takedown into Hammer's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Guns trying to control but Hammer is working from the bottom.
Hammer pushes Guns off and gets back to his feet.

Hammer shoots in for a double leg but Guns sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hammer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Guns.
Hammer has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Guns lunges at Hammer with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hammer's hand.
Hammer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Guns sprawls well. Guns wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hammer gets slowly back to his feet.
Hammer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Guns.
Hammer wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Guns working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Hammer pushes Guns away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Guns gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Guns wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hammer keeps working.
Guns is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hammer has escaped the position, nice work there.
Guns is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hammer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Hammer is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Guns asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Hammer bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Hammer takes a jab right on the kisser.

Guns scores with a shot to the body.
Hammer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guns moves away.
Hammer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Guns fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hammer to the ground. Guns is now in Hammer's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Guns seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hammer is trying to control the position but Guns postures up.
Guns drops back looking for a leg! Hammer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hammer manages to kick Guns off! Guns jumps back into Hammer's guard.
Guns gets to his feet - Hammer follows without any prompting.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hammer just misses with a punch to the body.
Guns lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Guns leaves Hammer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cj Hammer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hammer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guns moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rudi Guns dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hammer just misses with a punch to the body.
Hammer gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Guns.
Guns works Hammer's body with a nice hook.

Hammer scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hammer throws a body punch but Guns moves out of range.
Guns connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hammer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A telegraphed right hand from Hammer misses the target.
A combination from Hammer does no damage.
Guns connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hammer. Hammer circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hammer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Guns pinned against the cage. Guns gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Guns shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Guns was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Guns looking to isolate an arm here. Hammer doesn't see it coming and as Guns extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Guns!
