Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dicken McHunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dicken McHunt!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Skinner shoots in and bounces McHunt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Skinner with a flurry of punches that miss.
Skinner loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Skinner is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Skinner is trying desperately to improve position.

Skinner moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
McHunt is fighting to break Skinner's control of his arms but Skinner is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Skinner wants to sweep but no luck.

Skinner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McHunt's guard.
McHunt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Skinner lands a couple of elbows.
Skinner stands up over McHunt, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Skinner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McHunt swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Skinner working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of McHunt's head.
Skinner postures up and lands a big shot to McHunt's brow.

Skinner lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Skinner postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
McHunt wants to sweep but no luck.
Skinner tries to free his leg and advance position but McHunt is retaining full guard.

Skinner drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McHunt manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Skinner has McHunt in his guard.
Skinner is breathing heavily.
McHunt wants to get up but he can't break Skinner's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

McHunt is looking to advance position but Skinner has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

McHunt is looking for a sweep. Skinner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Skinner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Skinner counters with a nice double leg into side control. McHunt won't be happy with that.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McHunt shoots and misses
and Skinner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

McHunt prevents Skinner from moving into mount.
Skinner creates some space and throws a big elbow, but McHunt sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Skinner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

McHunt takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
McHunt tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Skinner drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McHunt gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells McHunt's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

McHunt tries for a takedown but Skinner circles away easily
and Skinner counters with an outside leg kick.
Bobby Skinner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dicken McHunt.

Skinner wants to break free but McHunt has control.
McHunt tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Skinner just stands there and leans against the cage.

Skinner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McHunt throws a right hand that Skinner ducks under and follows up with a left that Skinner also avoids with ease.

Skinner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Skinner counters with a shoot takedown. McHunt fights it but they end up in guard.

McHunt has hold of Skinner's hands but Skinner slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Skinner cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Skinner is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But McHunt has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from McHunt!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
