Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Hellion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Roode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Roode is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hellion scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Roode is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hellion scores with a couple of nice shots.
Roode wants to improve his position but Hellion is controlling well.
Roode makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Roode.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hellion is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hellion in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hellion postures up in Roode's guard and throws a big left but Roode blocks it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hellion chips away with some ground and pound.
Hellion tries to free his leg and advance position but Roode is retaining full guard.
Roode is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hellion is aware though and is defending well.
Roode controls Hellion momentarily but Hellion frees himself.

Hellion throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Roode works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Roode had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hellion defends it easily.
Hellion is working Roode over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Hellion knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roode on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hellion stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roode swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Roode wants to sweep here but Hellion controlling him for the moment.

Hellion distracts Roode with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hellion landing some decent shots from guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hellion's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Roode is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hellion defends well.
Hellion lands a couple of elbows.
Hellion connects with a couple of short punches.
Hellion working some strikes from top position.
Hellion postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Hellion thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Roode is looking to sinch up a triangle. Hellion throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Roode's body to avoid the submission. Roode has instead reached around Hellion's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Roode arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
