Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jiggaboo Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Cantona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cantona avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cantona steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crane.
Crane just misses with a punch to the body.
Crane blocks a head kick by Cantona.
Cantona throws a quick inside leg kick.
Crane misses with the combination.
Crane misses with a two punch combination.
Crane fails to land the takedown.
Crane is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cantona.
Crane throws a nice looking combination but Cantona bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jiggaboo Crane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Crane throws a combination that misses
and Cantona counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Crane is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Crane lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cantona circles away quickly and effectively.

Crane closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cantona's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jiggaboo Crane.

Crane is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Cantona wants to clinch.
No joy there for Crane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crane lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Cantona closes this distance looking for a takedown but Crane circles away.
Crane misses with a straight left.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jiggaboo Crane dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Crane lands with a nice combination. Cantona backs away looking to recover.

Crane throws out a loose jab but Cantona uses good head movement to avoid it.

Crane fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cantona to the ground. Crane is now in Cantona's guard.

Jiggaboo Crane is winning the standup battle so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cantona was well out of range. Poor timing from Crane.

Crane connects with a looping right hand.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cantona looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cantona displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crane throws out the jab.
Crane swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Crane throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Crane scores with a sloppy right hand. Cantona should have avoided that one.
Cantona throws a sloppy head kick and Crane moves out of range easily.
Cantona tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Crane paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Crane shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cantona's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Crane here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Cantona with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Crane to score with a decent uppercut.

Crane feints and as Cantona raises his hands in defense, Crane changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Eric Cantona has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cantona lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Crane has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Crane and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jiggaboo Crane showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Crane has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
