The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ralte tries to clinch up but Boyka circles away and keeps his distance.
Boyka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ralte pinned against the cage. Ralte gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ralte doesn't manage to clinch there - Boyka circles away.
Ralte avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Boyka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ralte sprawls well. Ralte wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boyka gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boyka has gone for a leg lock! Ralte slips out almost immediately though and dives into Boyka's guard.

Ralte gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Boyka throws a one two combo.
Ralte scores with a push kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boyka wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Ralte is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Boyka is defending well for now.

That was a close round but I would say that Yuri Boyka will probably get the nod.
