Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Na (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deano Hamessy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Antonio Na! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Deano Hamessy! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Na tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hamessy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Na closes the distance and clinches up with Hamessy, looking for a takedown. Na pushes Hamessy against the cage but Hamessy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hamessy throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Na shoots in looking for a takedown. Hamessy tries to sprawl out of it but Na keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hamessy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Na closes the distance and clinches. Na jumps guard but Hamessy stands there with Na around his waist. Na gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Na. That's going to take a lot out of him. Na landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Na breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Na tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Hamessy. Those never looked like landing. Hamessy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Na. Na throws a body kick the misses and Hamessy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hamessy. Na manages to break the clinch.
Na wants to clinch up but Hamessy keeps it at a distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Na. Na is breathing heavily. Hamessy throws a nice looking combination but Na bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Na shoots in and drives through. Hamessy sprawls well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Na shoots in looking for a takedown but Hamessy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Na's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Na fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hamessy pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hamessy avoids a wild elbow strike from Na. Na jumps guard but Hamessy stands there with Na around his waist. Na gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Na misses with a short punch on the inside. Hamessy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Na taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Hamessy is pressed up against the cage. Na has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hamessy down to the mat. Hamessy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. A head kick misses from Na. Hamessy throws a push kick but Na slaps the foot to one side.

Na pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Na tries a head kick but it misses.
Hamessy takes the fight into the clinch. Na is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hamessy is defending well for now. Hamessy breaks the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Na takes a swing at Hamessy's ribcage but misses. Deano Hamessy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hamessy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antonio Na dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hamessy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Na circles away quickly and effectively. Hamessy gets a clinch. Na fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Na tries to circle away but Hamessy has him pinned against the cage. Na struggles to land a body shot inside as Hamessy controls his hands.
Na jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hamessy walks away with a smile on his face. Na gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Na closes the distance looking to clinch and Hamessy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hamessy blocks a head kick by Na.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hamessy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Na. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Na. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Na throws the kick towards the body but Hamessy avoids it. Na fails with the takedown. Hamessy has Na up against the cage in a clinch.

Hamessy looks to score with a jab to the body but Na is just out of range. Na tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hamessy counters with a nice leg kick. Na shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hamessy as he avoids it easily. Antonio Na seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hamessy stuffs the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hamessy drives through and clinches with Na against the cage.

Antonio Na is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Na doesn't manage to clinch there - Hamessy circles away.

Deano Hamessy seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hamessy pulls out of a head kick attempt.

It looks like Antonio Na has been cut. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Na!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hamessy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Na. Hamessy rushes Na and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Na tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Hamessy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Na fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Na lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Deano Hamessy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Antonio Na's cut. That's time! Na's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Na using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hamessy has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Na changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hamessy tries to avoid it but Na manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hamessy to the ground. Hamessy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Na misses with a head kick.

Hamessy throws a head kick but Na moves out of range.

Hamessy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Na looks to clinch enabling Hamessy to counter with a crisp jab. Na tries to clinch but Hamessy moves out of range. Na avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Na slips a jab and a cross from Hamessy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Na clinches with his opponent.
Hamessy tries to break the clinch but Na is controlling the position. Hamessy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Na pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hamessy tries a head kick but it misses.
Na misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Na. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Na.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Na tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hamessy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Na somewhat. Hamessy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

And that's the end of the fight! Deano Hamessy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hamessy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
