Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Solomon Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Radel Skywalker!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Skywalker throws an overhand right that lands on Kang's shoulder, as Kang tries to avoid the shot.
Radel Skywalker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kang keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Kang fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Skywalker to the ground. Kang is now in Skywalker's guard.
Skywalker wants to stand but Kang is controlling the position.
Skywalker keeping moving, preventing Kang from controlling successfully.
Kang throws and elbow that misses. Skywalker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kang's guard. Nice move by Skywalker!

Kang has his feet on Skywalker's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Kang misses with a head kick.
A lazy left from Kang finds it's target.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Skywalker looks to land a combination. Kang sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Kang closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kang landing strikes.
Sloppy strikes there by Kang.

Kang cracks Skywalker with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Kang creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Skywalker sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Kang fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Skywalker is not content to let Kang control the position.

Skywalker takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Kang scores with punches from side control.
Kang lands an elbow.
Kang throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Kang working the ground and pound.
Kang trying to control the action but Skywalker is working from the bottom.

Kang stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Skywalker looks gassed!
Kang dodges the punch combination from Skywalker.
Skywalker throws a head kick that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Skywalker throws a right hand that misses

and Kang counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Skywalker's guard now.
Kang throwing strikes but missing.
Skywalker being controlled here, momentarily.
Kang is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kang postures up and lands a big shot to Skywalker's brow.
Skywalker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kang throws a big right hand that misses.
Kang loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kang throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Skywalker works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Kang keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Skywalker's head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kang pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Skywalker is keeping the position for now.
Kang working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Skywalker's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kang throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kang throws a big right hand that misses.
Kang in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Kang stands and steps away. Skywalker gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Kang counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kang.

Skywalker working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kang.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kang thows a big elbow that misses.

Kang gets to his feet. Skywalker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Skywalker checks the leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Solomon Kang dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


A looping hook to the body misses from Skywalker. Kang does a little dance to reset his feet.
A punch combination from Skywalker misses.
Skywalker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick from Skywalker lands but Kang takes it in his stride.
Skywalker throws a body kick that misses.

Skywalker gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kang to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Solomon Kang overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kang gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Kang cracks Skywalker with a right hand to the side of the head.
Skywalker throws a right and a left that both miss.

Kang looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Skywalker is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kang connects with a couple of short punches.
Kang throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Skywalker works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kang slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kang gets to his feet - Skywalker follows without any prompting.
Skywalker throws a nice head kick!

Kang shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Kang putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kang connects with a bit shot that sees Skywalker covering up! More strikes from Kang and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Kang is our winner by TKO!
