Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Al Kaeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Beauvais!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beauvais on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Al Kaeda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beauvais throws a head kick but Kaeda moves out of range.
Kaeda throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Beauvais's head.
Beauvais blocks a head kick by Kaeda.
Beauvais takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kaeda looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kaeda scores with a head kick. Beauvais tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kaeda dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Beauvais. That did some damage!
Beauvais rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kaeda moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Beauvais shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Beauvais looks gassed!
Beauvais shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kaeda pinned against the cage. Kaeda gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kaeda connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kaeda lands a front kick.
Kaeda throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kaeda throws a head kick but Beauvais moves out of range.
Kaeda lands a big head kick that sends Beauvais tumbling to the mat! Kaeda takes a step backwards and waves Beauvais back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Beauvais is rocked!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Kaeda! This one is all over!
