Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Blade! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Andersson! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blade changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Andersson tries to avoid it but Blade manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Andersson to the ground. Andersson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Andersson moves in looking to clinch but Blade pushes him off. Blade shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Andersson eats them both and turns towards Blade to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Andersson stuffs the takedown. Blade doesn't succeed with the takedown and Andersson counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Blade. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Blade is not content to let Andersson control the position. Blade manages to work his way to half guard, despite Andersson's best efforts. Andersson is trying to control the action in half guard but Blade is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Blade trying to hold on to Andersson's head to control him but Andersson postures up.
Andersson wants to free his trapped foot but Blade is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blade keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Andersson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Blade is not content to let Andersson control the position. Andersson blocks the strikes from Blade.
Andersson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Andersson connects with a nice short shot to Blade's temple. Andersson thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Blade to regain full guard. Andersson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Andersson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blade looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Andersson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Blade is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Blade prevents Andersson from improving his position. Andersson is controlling Blade's trapped leg to prevent Blade from advancing to side control. Blade is thwarting Andersson's attempts to control the position. Andersson keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersson is trying to get back to full guard. Blade seems to be working for a kimura but Andersson defends the submission attempt. Andersson is positioning himself well to prevent Blade advancing to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Andersson is looking to improve his position.
Andersson has his hands clasped together around Blade's back. He's all about the action. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Andersson can do anything to dispel that myth.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Max Andersson. Andersson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Andersson working the head with strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Blade gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Andersson prevents Blade from getting the reversal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Andersson dominated that round. That's time! Blade's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Andersson has a takedown stuffed. Blade throws a half hearted mid kick. Blade fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Andersson circles away from the clinch attempt.

Andersson swats away the attempt to clinch by Blade. Andersson stuffs the takedown attempt from Blade. Blade gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blade shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Blade. That's going to take a lot out of him. Andersson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Blade circles away. Blade throws a sloppy head kick and Andersson moves out of range easily. Blade tries to clinch there but Andersson circles away.
Blade misses with a takedown and Andersson counters with a lovely shot to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Blade displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Andersson throws out the jab. Blade gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Andersson counters with a shoot takedown. Blade fights it but they end up in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andersson content to stall in guard here. Andersson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Blade being controlled here, momentarily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Blade has momentary wrist control but Andersson slips an elbow through the middle. Andersson is in close to Blade's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersson wants to control from the top but Blade keeps moving. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Andersson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Andersson with a nice head shot there. Andersson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Andersson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Andersson working some strikes from top position. Andersson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Andersson scoring with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blade is trying to control the position but Andersson postures up. Andersson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blade swivels though and keeps the full guard. Blade has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Andersson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Blade can't keep his opponent in guard - Andersson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Andersson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Andersson tries to pass to full mount but Blade defends it. Andersson working Blade over with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Andersson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Andersson is looking to work some ground and pound but Blade has wrist control. Andersson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blade swivels though and keeps the full guard. Andersson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Andersson tries to free his leg and advance position but Blade is retaining full guard. Blade wants to get back to his feet but Andersson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Andersson trying to control but Blade is working from the bottom. Blade will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Blade wants to stand up but Andersson is controlling him. Andersson lands a couple of elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andersson wants to control from the top but Blade keeps moving. Andersson tries to free his leg and advance position but Blade is retaining full guard. Max Andersson has got the better of the ground game so far. Andersson controls from within his opponent's guard. Andersson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Andersson lands a couple of elbows. Andersson throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andersson stands and throws Blade's legs to the side, diving into side control. Andersson scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Blade is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Andersson can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Andersson!
