Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Hum Baby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Bak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damian Bak is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Hum Baby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damian Bak! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bak closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hum Baby circles away. Hum Baby shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bak as he avoids it easily. Bak is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bak wants to clinch. Bak tries for a takedown but Hum Baby sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hum Baby tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bak shoots and misses and Hum Baby counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Johnny Hum Baby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Bak. Bak shoots in for a takedown but Hum Baby shows good takedown defense. Hum Baby closes the distance and pushes Bak back into the cage. Hum Baby lands a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Bak looking for a sweep. Not yet Bak, not yet. Hum Baby sitting in guard here, content to control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bak escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hum Baby gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bak looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hum Baby scoring with some ground and pound. Bak keeping moving, preventing Hum Baby from controlling successfully. Hum Baby sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bak's guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hum Baby connects with a nice short shot to Bak's temple. Hum Baby is nestled in close to Bak, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Hum Baby lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Bak actively working from the bottom here. Hum Baby lands strikes from half guard. Hum Baby seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Hum Baby seems content to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hum Baby seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bak for as long as he can get away with. Hum Baby passes the guard and advances to mount! Hum Baby with the ground and pound from mount.
Bak is rocked! Hum Baby is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Bak is in real trouble.
Hum Baby has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Bak is defending well but eventually Hum Baby manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Bak has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Johnny Hum Baby!
