Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Little Jimmy!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimmy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Laperouge as he avoids it easily.
Laperouge ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jimmy moves away.
Jimmy's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Laperouge connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jimmy scrambles back to his feet.
Jimmy checks a leg kick.
Jimmy dives in and grabs Laperouge's left leg, looking for a takedown. Laperouge pushes down on Jimmy's head and hops out.
Laperouge lands a nice shot to the body.
Jimmy wants to clinch up but Laperouge keeps it at a distance.
Laperouge takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Laperouge cracks Jimmy with a good jab.
Laperouge shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Laperouge showed some decent athleticism there.
Laperouge wants to pass to mount but Jimmy is defending the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jimmy is in trouble now - Laperouge has advanced to mount!

Laperouge is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jimmy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Laperouge is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jimmy can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Laperouge loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Jimmy scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Laperouge land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Laperouge stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lelouch Laperouge!
Lelouch Laperouge decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
