The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombard blocks a jab.
Lombard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sasonne cracks Lombard with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Lombard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sasonne jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lombard throws a good cross that connects.
Sasonne waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lombard.
A telegraphed right hand from Sasonne misses the target.
Sasonne lands with a cross.

Lombard uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sasonne.

Lombard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sasonne thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sasonne fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lombard manages to avoid it.
Lombard slips a straight right by Sasonne.
Lombard takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lombard takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sasonne fails to land with a series of punches.
Lombard loads up on a big right hand but Sasonne slips the punch.
Some wild striking there from Sasonne.
Sasonne misses with a looping left.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sasonne is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lombard.

Lombard sends Sasonne crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lombard is motioning to the referee to let Sasonne up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Sasonne is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sasonne throws an overhand right that lands on Lombard's shoulder, as Lombard tries to avoid the shot.
Oh Sasonne is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lombard cracks Sasonne on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Sasonne falls backwards against the cage. Lombard follows up with more strikes that drop Sasonne to his knees. Lombard keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Sasonne! This one is all over!
