Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Tosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Funkyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tosh comes to the cage accompanied by Stepping Razor. Funkyama has chosen Renegade of Funk as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tosh attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Tosh tries to clinch but Funkyama is having none of it.
Funkyama checks the leg kick nicely there.
Funkyama moves out of range of the body kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tosh, right into the meat.

Tosh has Funkyama up against the cage in a clinch.

Funkyama has hold of one of Tosh's legs. Tosh is fighting the takedown attempt but Funkyama gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Funkyama loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Tosh controls Funkyama momentarily but Funkyama frees himself.

Tosh tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Funkyama wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Funkyama scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Tosh to see if he's OK.

Funkyama misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Tosh is trying to control Funkyama's posture but Funkyama avoids it.

Tosh is looking to control Funkyama's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tosh avoid being mounted?

Tosh is doing well to control the position and prevent Funkyama from advancing to side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Funkyama really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tosh. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Funkyama tries to reverse the position but Tosh maintains control.
Tosh lands a big shot there that rocks Funkyama but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The referee warns Funkyama that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Tosh cracks Funkyama with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Tosh! Funkyama is hurt baaadly! Tosh is firing away with more strikes - Funkyama is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
