The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinclair shoots in for a takedown but Nurminen shows good takedown defense.
Sinclair scores with a nice head shot.
An inside leg kick from Sinclair misses.
Sinclair throws out a leg kick but Nurminen moves out of range and Sinclair only half commits.
A solid leg kick lands there for Nurminen.
Nurminen connects with a solid leg kick.
Sinclair looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nurminen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sinclair's head backwards.
Nurminen waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Sinclair. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Sinclair to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Sinclair is rocked!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Nurminen arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Sinclair's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rakastaja Nurminen!
During a confident post fight interview, Rakastaja Nurminen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
