Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen 2pac & Dr.Dre - California Love as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Marquez tries for a takedown but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Johnson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marquez manages to avoid it.
Marquez misses with a series of wild punches.
Marquez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Marquez cracks a nice hook into Johnson's ribs.
Marquez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Johnson, as that shot connected.
Marquez slips a jab from Johnson.
Marquez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Marquez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Johnson was covering up waiting for the punch and Marquez finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Marquez wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.

Marquez looking to sit in guard and control but Johnson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Marquez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Marquez trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Johnson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Let's hope that Johnson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marquez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Johnson is aware though and is defending well.

Johnson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Marquez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Marquez stuns Johnson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Johnson swings for the body but Marquez moves out of range.

Johnson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Marquez thows a left - swing and a miss!

Johnson throws a lazy right hand but Marquez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Marquez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson scores with the left hand. Marquez knows he should have avoided that one.
Marquez shoots and misses
and Johnson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Marquez thinking.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jab, jab by Johnson - just one landing.
Marquez is rocked!
Johnson lands a slapping body shot.
Oh Marquez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marquez ducks into an uppercut from Johnson and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
