Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kray shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Marinas is trying to defend but Kray finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kray looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kray thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Marinas controlling the position well.
Kray is working for a kimura but Marinas is defending it quite comfortably.
Marinas keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Marinas is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kray's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kray's back!
Marinas really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Kray.
Marinas has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Kray.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marinas is working for a rear naked choke. Kray is not defending it well and Marinas has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Kray refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Kray's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jose Marinas!
