The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styles throws a lazy right hand but Axeford sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Styles tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Axeford manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Styles is looking to clinch but Axeford is avoiding it.
Axeford tries to clinch up but Styles circles away and keeps his distance.
Axeford looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Axeford is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Styles fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Axeford looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Styles lands a big right hand that sends Axeford crashing to the mat! Styles stays standing though and waves Axeford back to his feet!
It looks like John Axeford has been cut.

Axeford tries to get into range but Styles steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Axeford! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Styles scores the big KO victory!
