PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tetsu Oyokawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Unbreakable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Oyokawa might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to New Legend. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tetsu Oyokawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Unbreakable! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oyokawa closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Oyokawa pulls guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oyokawa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Unbreakable doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Unbreakable manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Oyokawa keeping moving, preventing Unbreakable from controlling successfully. Unbreakable wants to pass the guard but Oyokawa is keeping the position. Unbreakable drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Oyokawa dives on top into guard. Unbreakable looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Unbreakable wants to sweep but no luck. Unbreakable manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Unbreakable has hold of Oyokawa's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Oyokawa manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Unbreakable avoids the attempt from Oyokawa to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oyokawa is looking to improve his position but Unbreakable isn't that keen on the idea. Oyokawa is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Oyokawa is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Unbreakable locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Oyokawa is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jon Unbreakable!
