Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mark Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Spatz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spencer comes to the cage accompanied by Ride Of The Valkyries - Richard Wagner. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mark Spencer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karl Spatz!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spatz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spencer manages to avoid it.
Spatz misses with a wild body shot.
Spencer fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Spencer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Spencer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A shot to the liver by Spencer. Beautiful body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Spatz. Spencer does a little dance to reset his feet.

Spencer shoots in and gets a takedown into Spatz's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Spencer thows a big elbow that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spencer is looking to work some ground and pound but Spatz has wrist control.

Spencer drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Spatz manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Spencer has Spatz in his guard.
Spatz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Spencer pulls Spatz in close to prevent any damage.
Spencer wants to sweep but no luck.

Spencer looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Spencer can't keep his opponent in guard - Spatz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Spatz decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Spencer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mark Spencer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Spatz swings and misses with a hook to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Spencer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Spencer lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Spatz wants to hit a switch here but Spencer passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Spatz there!

Nice straight punches there by Spencer. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Spencer.

Spencer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Spatz on his heels. He'll look to pass Spatz's guard now, I'm sure.

Spencer looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Spatz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Spatz regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Spencer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
