Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Onufry Zagloba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Les Norton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norton has chosen Land downunder - Men at work as his entrance music. Les Norton will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Onufry Zagloba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Les Norton! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Norton stands up and we're back to a striking position. Some wild striking there from Norton.
Norton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zagloba.
Norton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zagloba misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Norton.
Zagloba just misses with a punch to the body.
Zagloba throws a hook but Norton blocks it. Zagloba lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Zagloba closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Zagloba breaks the clinch.
Zagloba just misses with a punch to the body.
Zagloba misses with a wild body shot. Zagloba lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's one minute gone in the round. Norton throws a right and a left that Zagloba avoids nicely. Zagloba is looking to clinch. Zagloba closes the distance and pushes Norton back into the cage. Zagloba is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Norton is defending well for now. Zagloba pulls guard. Norton wants to get up but he can't break Zagloba's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Norton in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Zagloba is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Norton defends well. Zagloba is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Zagloba has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Norton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Norton gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Norton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zagloba moves into the clinch successfully.
Zagloba can't get the takedown.
Zagloba tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Norton avoids it. Norton managing to block the knees to the body from Zagloba.
Zagloba trying to control the position but instead, Norton has worked for underhooks and has pushed Zagloba into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zagloba jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Norton walks away with a smile on his face. Zagloba gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Norton throws a lazy right hand but Zagloba sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Norton scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Zagloba has closed the distance and engaged Norton in a clinch.
Norton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zagloba tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Norton was well out of range. Poor timing from Zagloba. Norton misses with the combination.
Norton slaps away a takedown attempt from Zagloba, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Onufry Zagloba. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zagloba wants to clinch. Onufry Zagloba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Norton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Norton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zagloba. Norton shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Zagloba manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zagloba keeping moving, preventing Norton from controlling successfully. Norton decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Zagloba fails in his attempt to clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zagloba tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Norton was well out of range. Poor timing from Zagloba. Norton misses with a straight left. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Les Norton will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Zagloba shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Norton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Zagloba might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Zagloba escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Norton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Norton won't allow Zagloba to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Norton thows a big elbow that misses. Zagloba is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Norton stands up from Zagloba's guard - Norton perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Norton shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Norton was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Zagloba wants to hold on but Norton pushes him away. Norton controlling from mount. Norton tries to control but Zagloba wriggling away. Zagloba is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Zagloba is trying to escape the mount.
Norton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Zagloba is looking to escape. A nice elbow there by Norton. Norton pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zagloba gets back to half guard. Norton wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Zagloba is doing well to control the position and prevent Norton from advancing to side control. The fighters are battling for position here. Zagloba manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Zagloba wants to sweep but no luck. Norton trying to stand up but can't free himself from Zagloba's guard. Zagloba is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Norton frees his head nicely. Oh but Zagloba has switched to an armbar! Norton is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
