The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrier keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Welker misses with a lunging right hand
and Terrier counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Welker pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Terrier moves out of range as Welker strikes.
Nice defenses there by Terrier.
Terrier uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Welker.
Welker missing with a left hand there. Terrier was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Welker shoots in looking for a takedown. Terrier tries to sprawl out of it but Welker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Terrier manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Welker is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Terrier sees it coming and defends easily.

Welker shoots in for a double leg but Terrier sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Welker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Terrier.
Terrier uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Welker has time to react.

Terrier fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Welker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Welker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Terrier counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Welker slips a straight right by Terrier.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bull Terrier will probably get the nod.

Welker is rocked!
Terrier stalks Welker and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Welker's face. Welker staggers backwards, shaken.
Welker is still on wobbly legs! Can Terrier finish him?
Welker misses with a straight left.
Some wild striking there from Terrier.
Welker throws a shot from downtown. Terrier moves away and avoids it.
Welker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Terrier is fending him off so far but Welker persists. Nope, Terrier circles away and we're back to standing.
Welker is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Terrier moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bull Terrier!
After the fight, Bull Terrier was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
